"Fat guy" doing the happy dance
Well, William seems to think I'm a fat, balding guy (Hey, I'm not balding!!!) so it's a fat guy doing the happy dance!
I just spent a couple of hours working on my Wagoneer. I finished plugging in the new wiring harness, changed the oil and swapped in a new alternator. My Grand Wagoneer is now running under it's own power!!! Now I just have to take it in and get it inspected... 1985 SJ: 360/727/229/44/20 - It's Running! Derf/Roy, good deal! Glad to hear the trail jeep is closer to seeing the trail. Good luck at inspection.

You got to stop posting and saying that you are fat, 'cause you aren't fat.
Congrads on the SJ! How much money have you sunk into it already?

So far: $500 - Purchase price of vehicle $45 - Carb rebuild kit $45 - Starter $20 - Starter Solenoid $40 - Alternator $500 - Window channels and weather stripping from the stealership $450 - Stereo system $150 - 4 Pirelli Sorpion AT tires (31x10.50), used, 75% tread left $250 - Misc parts and tidbits ------ $2000 so far. Add to that: $TBD - fixing power steering leak. Could be just hoses, could be pump, could be steering box, could be all of the above. $200 - Holley Street Dominator 4bbl intake manifold (already purchased) $TBD - as yet undecided carbureator or maybe Holley ProJection TBI $600 - Rusty's 4" spring lift kit $TBD - Good 33-35" tires, depending on fender trimming. What else? I'm sure there will be something 1985 SJ: 360/727/229/44/20 - It's Running! Well, almost... 2001 XJ: 4.0/AW4/242/30/35 - The Mountain Goat "Pain heals. Chicks dig scars. You're not "fat". I just don't know what William is speaking of, unless you have a "fat" wallet. And everyone who owns a Jeep needs one of those...
