$200+ for a stock starter?????


That's what I was just told on my 4.3L I put in the Jeep. Now I can't find a rebuild kit for it either.

john, is that the 4.3L chevy engine? do you have a core (for the starter)? if so, give R&Z Alternator a call (they're in harbor city) IIRC, they charge about $65-70 for rebuilt starters, with core exchange.

Yeah, it's out of a 2000 Chevy Blazer. I've got the one that cam with the motor for a core.

i've had their rebuilds in 4 different cars and never had any trouble. they also come with a 1 year warranty (just in case)
