The Barstow area
If plans work out, we'll (wife and I) be in the Barstow area in February, '04. Probably from the 13th to the 16th, (exact days are not firmed up yet).
Plan on driving the Jeep, but may tow it behind the dually if I come up with a trailer before then. Just an FYI, if anyone wants to get together, meet, socialize, or do a little wheelin'. |

this thread is making me feel un-loved.
I'll try again. With a differant approach. I've found sometimes all you need is a new line. Here goes... Would a black '97 TJ, locked front and rear, on 33s be considered a rig worthy of running pumpkin eater?

In your opinion is the earth flat or spherical?

Brian,
33's will make it tougher on you but its doable being locked f&r. Have a good set of rock rails and a good belly skid. Do you have a winch? There is also another canyon there, the name which fails me at the moment that is alot fun. Its basically a wash full of boulders and is at the south end of the powerline road. 33's are not a problem in there if you stay off to the sides or on top of the rocks. |

Thanks Robert. No winch yet, I'll wait.
