Poor mans air-bump

The front suspension that I'm working on needs a bump stop to limit horizontal compresion travel. Without one my panhard hits the diff and would get damaged. At that point, I still have plenty of articulation travel room so I purposely set the shocks up so they arent the horizontal limiter.

I looked into air bumps and besided the fact that they are $$, they have too much bump travel to work well for my setup. The shortest air bump is 3" travel, I have 5" of up travel so I would be constantly in the bumps.

I stumbled across a thread on Pirate that mentioned Timbren overload springs and their use as a bump. The Timbren springs look kinda like an airbag without the air. The thing I liked about them is they have a ton of different sizes and load capacities. I chose some of their smallest springs.

I'm not sure how far they will compress, so I built an outer sleave that will allow me to adjust the bump height, heres what I came up with:

If everything goes well tomorrow, I may just be able to test drive this thing
