Has anyone bent a Currie tie rod?

It must be just me. I installed it last week in anticipation of a difficult trail ride this weekend (Holy Cross for those in Colorado) and I am glad I did. Coming up French Creek, I lost my line and had to back down, right on my tie rod. To be fair, I didn't even know it was bent until I got back on the road and noticed my steering wheel off center, so it isn't that bad. I also realize if I had done that with my stock tie rod, the tires would have been pointing at one another. I only wished it would have made it through the summer. Now I have to figure out how I am going to straighten it again.

I bent one backing off a rock and straightened it with a press. It looked and worked as good as new.

Holy Cross! Yep , broke my first stock axle on that trail. Actually I think it was broke/cracked somewhere else and it showed up there.

I have bent the drag link but not the tie rod, yet. Drag link was victim of hitting a stump at around 2 am travelling 25 mph on a tight trail during the time/speed/distance rally portion of a local event we have up here in Oregon every year.

TRE that meets the drag link really rubs bad now.
