Very cool. I have been wanting to put in an air filter like that and throw away the K&N.
I like the brake line brackets, I was wondering how to keep them off the shocks if I was to go to a can up design. Is the truss necessary if one is not doing coilovers?

Blaine-
What airbox is that from? Where did you get the flange that mounts to the cowl, and what kind of flexible tubing is that? Couldn't find it at Home Depot. How did you brace it? Is it supported off the motor mount, or held in place by the stock intake tube? Thanks-

If I remember right, it's from a GM V-6.

Just make sure that if you install those shock mounts and dont use remote reservoir shocks, you bend back Or cut off the reservoir brackets..
I hear they make rough going on the inside sidewalls

10350-8 -9 -10 depending on the size of your duct. I used 2 1/4 but could have gone 2.5 easily.

Thanks. Do you think 3" is overkill? That is the size of my intake tube (threw out my old one years ago, that was a mistake) and the size of the tubes on the airbox.

Help the clueless ...
I'm not a GM guy.
Trying to scour the interweb for the vehicle this airbox came from, without any luck. I've found 4.3 L GM vehicles in that vintage, but not 3.3L. Can anyone give me an idea what model vehicle used that airbox? thanks in advance. Dave
