Angry Why I'm quiting the internet.

After a while, **** gets old. People you think are your friends, or people you think are part of a group you trust, take a **** on you, and talk **** about you, and post **** about you that isn't true.

On RAMJAW once, someone decided to call my OIC about a debate I had with Harry B. It's was blown off by both of us, but they had the grapes to call because they thought it was "out of line.".

Signing up my .mil email for gay porn.

Someone took a picture of Sarah getting out of my tent. And then emailed it from a hotmail account to my home email.

Now this:
http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showt...hlight=William

First of all San Diego CJ: Kiss my white ass. Not impressed, gee... OK, hurt my feelings. I don't know if I've ever met you. Or if I have wheeled with you. But if this is your summation, then hey, used your informed opinion to tell the world facts you know. Funny, never had a word cross ways, but you sure jump on the bandwagon fast.

You know, I'd stay to prove I'm "not afraid" or not to "let them win" or what ever, but it comes to a head that if you deal with idiots for such a long period of time.. and they are so spineless that they will post where you work, but not take the time to get off thier ass and come on it.. or "know who I am" but not even try to send an email or PM to say "hey asshole, what the hell are you doing..

That the effort is like Sisyphus and I'm rolling a rock up hill to have it fall back down. I'd rather stack rocks on the trail, and deal with idiots.

I guess the final, final thing that gets to me, is that BEYOND Jeep folks, who are supposed to be a tight knit group, BEYOND THAT...

Some of my fellow shipmates, brothers in arms.. Can't even hold something that sacred to say "Hey, what the hell are you doing".

And they know where I work, and where I park, and where I am 5 days out of the week. And post it.

So much for Honor Courage and Commitment.

It's been fun, but I'm through. **** this, **** that.. and good bye.

I'll just comment on a small part of this -- whoever mailed the innocent tent pic of Sara to your home email address is a spineless piece of crap.

William,

Instead of quitting the internet, I'd suggest just quitting that site instead. You've met most of your wheeling buddies on the net, it'd be a shame to close that channel.

Hang in there buddy.

There may be some sh*tstarters in that thread William. However, I thnk part of the problem is that Mrs.Maniac started that parallel thread in chit-chat. So now folks are beating their chest and talking smack in that thread, when the issue has already been put to rest in the original thread.

http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/show...54&pagenumber=1

If you look at the datestamps of the posts in the Chit-Chat thread, alot of the smacktalk was posted prior to 10/25 when Ramstein came into the original thread and cleared the air.

It does suck that some of the Navy guys are so eager to impress the clique, they'll talk smack on the board instead of simply coming to see you directly. At least you know who you cannot trust now.

William,
It appears that some of these chest beaters work in the same area as you and are inappropriately using "company" resources to track you down to try to possibly send unsolicitted emails to your work email account or try to find you at work. Seems that this could be construed as threatening activity. Maybe find out who they are and "mention" it to their supervisors??

They aren't the only ones who can be creative.

Chris, were I in the military, the last person I would mess with would be the one guy in charge of my pay and my ID card to ensure I received my due benefits. I truly would think twice about just how much I wanted to screw with him.

Whilst I personally know that the person in question is beyond reproach when it comes to any pay related retaliation, I would mess the guys pay up for about the next year and you would be able to iceskate in hell before I used the same error twice.

Go ahead, put my name out there in public to impress your little wheelin' cronies. Just be certain you can handle the heat. It's all fun until you can't pay your bills, no one knows where your pay went, or all of a sudden you are no longer in the computer, then it becomes a downright party.......

Blaine,

That's what I'm talking about. These guys are trying to make themselves sound like King Sh!t in front of their buddies, but when it comes down to it, they will crumble.

You want to take leave time? You don't have any leave time on the books! And they took all your paycheck for taxes? We'll get it straightened out in a month or three; trust me. And just what is this that you want 99% of your available pay to go to charities?
Never, ever screw with the paymaster; cook; or medic!

I don't like it!

If you feel an alternate method to resolve this needs to be used, let me know.

Hi William,

It saddens me to see you taking this level of abuse. It is uncalled for at a pesonal and professional level.

I don't know why people take such stupid and thoughtless actions which have no value to anyone yet cause others to be harmed at a personal level. This is a hobby for goodness sakes, not life or death!

Perhaps it is some unfulfilled need to belong to something beyond themselves. One would think many of these folks already get this in the Navy.

Joe is right. This is not right. If I can be of help to you please let me know.

It's been a while but I am still afforded the courtesy of having my calls taken. And I was there too.

Frank

William,
We must strive to accept the things we cannot change, have the courage to change the things we can and the wisdom to know the difference.
When I get myself in a pickle, it's usually my doing. The truth is, the only thing I can change is myself.
