Rubicon Trail Support

Hi gang,
I'm posting this info with the assumption that most readers here are aware of the Rubicon Trail, where it is and what some of the issues are. If you want or need more information please visit rubicontrail.com.

Del Albright, trail boss and FOTR organizer (Friends of the Rubicon) along with the members of FOTR are in the middle of a formal negotiation with El Dorado National Forest and El Dorado County officials who are attempting to put official rules and restrictions on Rubicon Trail use. Much has transpired so far and FOTR is now at the junction of a review of a 2nd draft.

If you have an opinion about land use and specifically about pending management of our off-highway trails, you should chime in for support of the efforts being made by Del and his FOTR members.

Here is a link to the responce to the 2nd draft made by FOTR:

I was looking for a land use topic area but did not see one right away. My apologies if this is being psoted in the wrong area. Perhaps moderators can advise and move it if necessary.

Chuck
