How many of you have replaced a TJ radiator?

Mine is leaking. I flushed it good and put some protectant and stop leak in it. Maybe that will help. What is a good one to use? Where to get it?
Thanks.

I've replaced radiators in all 3 of my TJs. Two of them got 2-row radiators from radiators.com (same place that Allen ordered his.)

The third was still under warranty so it got another plastic and metal Jeep radiator. WHEN it starts to leak again, it will get a radiators.com replacement as well.

I must be the luckiest guy on earth. Stock 98 TJ radiator and exhaust manifold. No failure on either yet

I replaced my '98 radiator this spring after it started leaking while at Moab (it just couldn't handle the cooler weather!) I installed a 2 core unit too....same off-shore brand (CSF) as what many other folks have put in.

I still have my factory exhaust manifold though (just not as lucky as mnjeeper!)

I replaced one with a CSF on my old 2.5L and it was fine, but I'm no longer convinced that it was the stock radiator's fault for the leak. I think I should have performed better routine maintenance on my cooling system, because I imagine that plenty of gunk got in that crimp over time to make mine leak that much more easily when it got very cold in the winter. Time will tell with my current one though, as it only took a few Illinois winters to kill that last one.

Edit: Actually it will be quite interesting with this current '03 stock radiator, as they're now putting in the low-corrosion long life coolant stuff from the factory. If that has anything to do with it I wonder if this one will last longer with the same lax schedule I applied before?

I'll look at radiators.com Haven't seen prices there yet, but my brother-in-law got a custom radiator from Griffin to go in his buggy for around $180. All aluminum and very well made. If prices are not much less at the above site, I may consider this.

Not so lucky on my manifold. I am on my 3rd (or is it 4th) factory one, all but he first one being the new style, and I am leaking again now. Part of mine is from jokeying everything around in working with my belly skid.

My maintenance was pretty lack, as well. Went a couple of years without flushing.

Thanks guys.

www.radiatorbarn.com is who I went through. Same radiator that everyone else carries I think. Quick shipment and not problems so far.

Sorry, overlooked your name, I guess.

Good news! The stop leak seems to have totally fixed it in the first day. I'll keep an eye on it, but if it ain't (still) broke.........

Those factory radiators with plastic tanks never stay fixed for long...I patched one in my wife's Accord with JB Weld, which lasted exactly 1 week.
Prolly should have a good, all-metal radiator on the way for safe measure. Who knows, with a good one sitting in the shop, the old one may decide to behave itself for a while.

Mine has been leaking for months. Whenever I have the hood open to fill the winshield washer bottle I spray a little H2O in the radiator overflow bottle and call it good. I guess it wouldn't hurt to invest in a bottle of stop leak.
