Scotty's
Thumbs up to Scotty's and to Robert for his recommendation. My brother and I both picked up TJ draglinks to get us by 'til the Currie comes back out for only $45 ea. The dealer wanted $217! My brother also picked up a tail light assembly for only $20 (dealer wanted $60). While the guy was pulling the parts we were looking at all the smashed up TJ's. Get a rollcage people, it isn't pretty when these things go over on the street at speed. In most cases, the windshield was folded back right into the occupants' head area. Ouch!

I noticed all those wrecked TJ's as well - nice stash of parts for us but not so nice for the idgets that forget they are driving tippy high center of gravity Jeeps. Sometimes you can get a good price out of those guys and other times they will really stick it to you. I picked up 2 complete fender assemblies including flares and marker lights in the color I needed (black) for $500 - can't beat that one with a stick IMO.

Good point. While paying for my super cheap draglink, I asked how much for D30 shafts. When he told me $125 per side I almost died. I've heard that they can be had for $190 for the pair, new with u-joints, from Drivetrain Direct.

I see Scotty's hasn't changed much over the years!
I used them as a "local" source for parts when I had my FJ-40 (back in the early 80's) It was either feast or famine. Jeff 94 YJ, one or three mods http://jmcrae.rockcrawler.com

I used to have a machinist I would not approach until after he had his lunch (and a couple beers), he was a great guy and worked cheap. He was a jerk before lunch and not cheap. He's dead now, too bad, a real character!
