Actually - no I'm not ebarassed - why should I be? The XJ is at work today - in full public view in good light. I don't have a digital camera here at the office. Anyone who wants to can drive up to Walnut to see it. Jeff

I'm also not sure why there is more interest in the dents in my rig then anything else - did I tell you that nothing failed? Your parts worked great, in addition to the other stuff on, and your bumper is excellent in the clearance department. Mark - you know where I live - come by if you are that interested. PS - I'll be by your shop tomorrow to ship that bumper. Jeff

I'm the last person on earth who would ever go rock racing. Even if I was given the "Fireant" to drive, I would pass it up. And the last person I would have spot for me would be Jeff. I would love to have you spot for me the next time were out on the trail having fun Jeeping. But rock racing, No Thanks! Jeff already know we're all giving him **** about giving tons of **** himself. He's already told me he doesn't know how to drive, himself and he knows he needs lots more seat time. He just needs to find a vehicle that he'll keep long enough to learn in it. Then he'll be proud of that body damage and not keep it a secret. mark orgs mfg |

Well,
Seems to me there is a line is all. Nudging a guy a bit is one thing, him having a bit of self depreciating humor about his skills or rig is another but I guess it got to the point where it seemed that it was more than that. Frankly, you bus drivers all seem real touchy to me - whether its a discussion about the weights of your rigs, strength of the unibody or a guy wanting to get out of a bus and into a SWB. Nothing personal in my previous response Mark but to say that I give Jeff a ton of credit - he put his money where his mouth was and competed which is alot more than what most of us will ever do with our rigs. |

Are Bus people touchy or am I. I hate being called names in groups where I don't belong. I would rather stay my own individual, its easier being an a$$hole that way. I've never had issues with SWB jeeps or people. I sell'm both parts and I really don't give a flying F*** what anybody drives. As long as it aint broke on the trail in front of me. Hell I even have freinds that drive ... everything. Are people who compete better than those who don't? Nothing taken personally. mark orgs mfg |

Robert, are we touchy because we answered YOUR questions? I think the problem is that you didn't like the answers. Maybe you were hoping to hear that unibodys are heavy & weak. Sorry, they are actually quite light & quite strong, but now I'm getting touchy again.

Mark - I know you were pulling my leg and I was messing with you right back. Ultimately Mark's attitude is the one that most of us have - lets wheel regardless of who drives what.
Robert - thanks for the props!!! Who really cares if I drive a CJ, a YJ (as long as it's not red ), a ZJ, WJ, XJ, or TJ? Let's please not turn this into a TJ vs. XJ debate again - frankly why don't we just drive what we want to and have fun. I'm sick of hearing how stiff this is and how light that is. Thank you and please drive through... Jeff

HAHA! Your post made me think of Edith and Archie...
"Boy the way Glen Miller played, songs that made the hit parade. Guys like us we had it made, those were the days. And you know where you were then, girls were girls and men were men. Mister we could use a man like Herbert Hoover again Didn't need no welfare states, everybody pulled his weight. Gee our old Lasalle ran great, those were the days!" http://www.allinthefamilysit.com/sou...nthefamily.wav

Shredder was a good time. I'm not sure if Garry really dislikes the ARB or if he's just saving face. Maybe He should get a formula 1 steering wheel with the paddles so he can turn it on and off.
We were behind Stinky all day and it seemed to work fine, and stayed square all day even when flexed up. (and I've got a picture or two) I think those front hubs should stay locked better now that they have a day of wheeling on them. I would guess the most difficult thing to deal with was all the time away from wheeling while building the creature.

Also - to anyone who thinks MTRs cut easy - no damage to this poor tire.
