Body Mount Torque Specs?
A bunch of us are here putting a 1" body lift on a 1998 TJ, and have the FSM. Unfortunately, they failed to include the torque specs for the body mounts. The instructions of the lift say to torque to factory spec, any suggestions? Now?
Thanks, Matt |

Thanks for the input, we ended up using Stu Olsens "two grunt" method
All is well, it's sitting on 35's now with room to flex. |

Overkill,
Stu's two grunt method is going to be close. When I went looking for the specs in my '01 FSM, they weren't in the Body section. I finally found them in the Frame and Bumpers section. They aren't simply referred to as 'Body Mounts' either. In the torque specs page they are listed as 'Main Floor, Rear Floor and Radiator - to Frame Holddown Bolts'. And to end the suspense, it's 35 ft. lbs.
