A tight fit is a good thing right?

The problem was this:
How to, unobtrusively, fit a good size 3/4HP air compressor in my XJ without any underhood space available (dual battery system already in place)
A small amount of metal removal gave me just enough room to fit the compressor, oiler, and filter behind the driver side rear cargo panel.

I fabbed a small air tank to fit under the rear seat with the pressure switch. This gives me plenty of volume to run the locker. I add in a 5 gal tank for extra volume when going out for a day of off roading.

Found a couple of inches under the hood for the regulator and ARB solenoid.

Wow! Very clean, nice install! The only thing I would be worried about is the compressor vibrating against the body - what is it mounted to?

Thanks, it's mounted with two bolts at the top and one to the bottom pinch seam. The mounts are actually welded to the motor housing and are very rigid; holding about a 1/2" gap between it and the body. There is also some factory insulation in this space.
