Spring suggestions for 6" Full Traction?

A friend of mine did a real good/bad wheelie depending on how you look at it hit the brakes and came down hard. R/F coil spring is trash as is the bump stop.

Full Traction springs on back order for a couple of weeks, any suggestions for another 6" spring? TIA. Chuck

Tell Donnie to stop screwing around!

I like the 6" Skyjacker springs. They hold the 4500+ pounds of mine up OK.

If there is another 6" spring with as many wraps as the Full Traction, I haven't seen it. I'd hold out for replacement FT's and borrow some other springs. Perhaps somebody has some 4" fronts and you could add spacers to get you by in the interim.

Now Stu what in the world would make you think Donnie was involved?

Yes, Donnie was messing around on a "Tough Truck" course after the event "showing us" that he could of beat them all. 4 people in the jeep (my dumb arse included) going up a pretty good hill at WOT, front end hits small ledge at the same time jeep auto. tranny shifts hard into 2nd gear. This resulted in a spectaclar, underwear gravy making wheelie at approx 15 MPH.... Before it went over backwards he hit the brakes a little too hard and we came down hard......

Bummer being this was the first time we had had the jeeps on any real trails in a long time...

Thanks for the input guys, I will pass this on to him..
Chuck.

Chuck,
It had to be one of two possibilities......either it was him or you weren't going to post just who really did the wheelie.

Glad all are OK and no one was hurt.

So....am I to assume that Donnie won't be competing in next year's Tough Truck Challenge?

Hey Tim, we certainly hope to if the price for a gallon of diesel is not over the price of an ounce of gold LOL.. We wanted go this year I even bought a new 24" lowboy goose neck to make trips like this but it seems something unexpect always pops up. We reall missed not going this year with ya'll, I have not even checked out all the pictures on Stu's site yet...

Donnie is putting his jeep on a frame machine this weekend, he seems to think he may have bent it bu it not sure at this point. I believe his Baja/wheeling days are hopefully over

Stu, Donnie and I have not talked about in a while but the plan was to go through Dallas pick up Mike and head your way. He has to resolve his present situation and we need to see if Mike is going . I will try and give you a call this weekend to see what you schedule is October.
Chuck
