Is there something you can buy to "harden" spray paint?
I've applied some hammerite and some rusteleom. The hammerite is "soft" after 24 hours. The rusteleom not so bad..
Is there something I can spray onto the paint to harden it up?

I find talking dirty to the paint while showing a porno achieves maximum "hardness"

Try and find a liquid spray on clear coat. If you can find that, it should solve you're problems. I've done many rattle-can jobs, and its time to move on to spray guns and mixing the paint, only way to go.

Many drug stores keep an aerosol "nail polish speed dry". That might help. Test it in a small, less-visible area to make sure it doesn't wrinkle the paint.
The reason it won't dry faster is that you must shake well and keep it shaken, especially the more expensive (more solids in the paint) brands.
