Thumbs up Much Thanks to TJRON (and April)

My friend and I just got back from MOAB and we had a blast! This would not have been possible without the excellent full time trail guidance provided by TJRON, he knows these trails like the back of his hand!

Friday evening we sat around and told embarassing stories about ourselves, talked jeeps, guns, and motorcycles until we were hoarse (and that's hard for Ron ) His sweet wife, April, served up some good snacks and dinner.

We ran Hell's Revenge (and Gate) and Upper Helldorado (and played a little at the entrance of Lower) and walked up Potato Salad Hill on Saturday, and ran Poison Spider & Golden Spike on Sunday with Jim B, Tracy, and a couple of guys in a slick CJ from OK (sorry, forgot thier names).

Only problem we had was a DS U-joint puked from the CJ (he had a spare DS, so it was a quick fix) and Ron bent the Currie steering setup a little showing off......er, I mean....attempting to surmount the first obstacle on Lower Helldorado.

Got to meet Stu and some other JU'ers for about 5 minutes on Sunday morning, seemed like good guys, all.

Again, Thank you Ron for giving your time so freely, and thank April for giving you up for 2 days so we could have a blast.

Be quiet, we were trying to convince him that no one here missed him.

Thanks Brad, the pleasure was all ours! It had been a long time since I laughed that hard.
The two old farts that ran with us in the CJ were Tom & Paul. Damn good wheelers. I forgot (my old fart brain) to add that drive shaft u-joint to my list, probably 'cause they changed it so fast.
Hope to see you again. Maybe next fall in JV?
Ron
