I seem to remember late one night #1 and mrblaine risking life and limb, armed only with Leathermen, waking a comatose #2 and saving his ass from a most certain deadly encounter with a black bear. If you had died, what would I have done? Who would have got me stuff? Still all about me indeed. Allen

I have to agree with everyone who was there and their comments on the JK.
I'm not crazy about the look of the front fenders....I think tube fenders would look great but I understand the function design of the stock fenders. The one thing that amazed me the most was that with all the food served and the free open beer bar I didn't gain any weight.....must have all the errands I was running for Number 1

I think the Gladiator will be produced, but not as soon as most (diehards) want. I think it is too brand specific, too Jeep, for Chryco/Diamler and would not be seen as mainstream enough.
Also, it may have to do with Dana/Spicer, and the diesel engine. Diesel and ULSD are somewhat up in the air right now, as far as new diesel pricing, and Dana/Spicer is hurting and may not be able to produce axles for the vehicle. Am I anywhere near right? |

They don't want to crash test it/certify it with airbags and all the other crap?

They want to build it. They know that it will sell very well. It has nothing to do with willingness on their part, because they are more than willing. They'd start production tomorrow if they could. But they can't. Why can't they? Nor would they make any money on it. Why is the question. Allen

Make it the same wheelbase as the 4-door! I'd still buy it. |
