I run mine on the softest setting. The hole fartherest away from the fron of the Jeep.

I don't drive like Mario Andretti on the road so the softest setting work just fine for me.

If I am going on a Road Trip I'll move it to hole number 2 or 3

Everyone here I asked the same question to recommended the second-hole from the end and that's where it still is. That position works well for me, at least it minimizes body roll without being too stiff.

I started on the softest and have since moved it in one hole.

I have one set in #3 and the other set in #1. Does that truely make an average of 2? (probaly not because the arm leverage is most likely not linear between holes?)

So which side is in #1 and #3? Did that help with the front driver's side lifting? If so, I might try running mine that way.

Jerry....I wondered about that very same thing....would having them sitting in different holes cause one side to react differently.

Not knowing the answer, I tossed the very same question to my defense contractor mechanical engineer Jeepin' buddy. He told me no, it will have no affect when viewed from either arm. He said that because the torsion bar is free floating (ie., not anchored at the middle), having one arm in a higher setting simply firms up the ride. I'll believe him because even if I thought he was wrong, there is nothing I can do about it. My steering prevents me from putting the passenger side link in the #1 or #2 holes.
