Hello from Kentucky
Hello everyone. I was invited over by Frank(Daless2). I see allot of familiar names and what looks like a wealth of knowledge.
I'm from Winchester Kentucky and have a 98TJ with some mods. I guess I'll keep building until I'm bankrupt or my wife kills me [This message was edited by Jeepnut on February 28, 2002 at 04:08 PM.]

Hi Dodd,
Thanks for joining. You will indeed see a lot of familiar names here, a wealth of shared knowledge, and for the most part a much friendlier environment then on some other boards. Be sure to check out Blaine's on going build up of his TJ. Quite a work of art! Catch you in two weeks for a trip down to Livingston. Frank |

I thought I would give a bit more of an introduction to JeepNut (Dodd).
Besides being a very nice young (relative to me) man, Dodd is incredibly knowledgeable of a Jeeping area in Kentucky known as Natural Bridge. (Some folks call it by the town name of Slade.) The Natural Bridge area of Kentucky is an incredibly beautiful place, made up of both private and public lands. The public portions are a part of the 1 million acre Daniel Boone National Forest which stretches from North to South across the state. There are many large arch rock formations in the area much like what can be found at Arches National Park in Utah, only in the forests. Being Dodd grew up in this area he is one of the more knowledgeable Jeepers around. And knowledge here helps a lot in keeping all of us off of private property when owners do not want us there. (And being he knows all the private property owners with all the really good stuff on their land that helps to get access too!) If anyone east or west cost cares to explore some of Daniel Boone's owe wilderness, this is the place, and Dodd is the one to contact. He's a great guy, and you would find no one more helpful. Of course you can contact me as well for a ride. I'll just call Dodd after you do and ask him to be the trail guide. That always guarantees a great day. Frank |
