Cruise on down to the jeep section. There's some fairly knowledgeable folk that pop in now and again.

Welcome aboard! Have fun with "the bus" Also, like mrblaine mentioned, there are some knowledgeable XJ guys here. Some have switched to TJ's, but I think their memory & knowledge still works. Have fun with it!

I'll be sure to wear my thick skin when it comes to discussion around the XJ then..

I am getting an XJ because I have two youngin's that I'd like to take with me, so a Wrangler is not really an option..... yet.

I am going to look at one tonight, a bit newer then I expected and a whole lot less miles.

We'll see.

Good luck. Keep us posted on the XJ.

BTW, don't let folks give you any crap about owning an XJ. I know a husband and wife who each have their own. He carries the tools and parts, she takes the three kids...all in car seats.

And they fit on my trailer just fine when they break and I drive my TJ out

Welp, I picked up my new ride tonight..

1998 XJ 4 dr w/ 41k miles.

I'll have pics of it soon, it was dark when we got home..

I've only driven it about 50 miles so far, and I am in love with it already.

Any clubs or groups in the Metro Detroit Area?

Greg
