What's the difference between this site and jeepsunlimited? Seems a couple of features are identical. Is it the same people running both sites, or is it DaimlerChrysler behind both of them?

The most important feature are the people here are 100X's better then on JU (though you'll find some of us still frequent there). This is a smaller site with a more friendly personality run by TObject and a few others. If it wasn't for Sergey, this site wouldn't be here right now.
DC doesn't own either site and you'll find that 4WD Hardware "owns" JU and basically those that help to contrubute and Sergey own this one. Sit back and read some of the stuff that is here already, you will see lots of really useful info when you get around to possibly building up your Jeep or just advancing your knowledge. This site has hleped me quite a bit in that way, there is more good nowledge here that is easier to find then on JU.

This board was started by a group of likeminded jeep enthusiasts. We have a core group of people who look after the board, and make executive decisions, when needed. We also have many jeepers who help with running the board by means of donating money and/or their time, moderating sections of the BBS. And, off course, all good informative posts made by our members are also always welcome.
This site looks similar to jeepsunlimited, because we use bulletin board software manufactured by the same maker in England ? Jelsoft Enterprises Limited. As it has been mentioned before, and as we have posted at the bottom of every page, JeepBBS is not affiliated with DaimlerChrysler Corporation.
