(mild) rockcrawling European style ...
The past 2 days Janneke and I went on a Jeep Club Nederland organized event in a rock quarry in Germany to do some (compared to JV) mild rockcrawling.
It was the first time for the CJ7 in the rocks here in Europe and we had lots of fun, despite the fact that the front locker was acting up (spitting air through the vent tube ... so probably needs a new/bigger O-ring, just like the TJ). Only today we took some pix of the terrain and 'trails' and obstacle courses. The weather was great, good people to be around and some fun stuff. Besides the fact that the tailpipe got bent/relocated a little while backing up, no issues that we know of presented themselves. Janneke had fun driving it and now knows the difference (just as well as I do) between this mildly built CJ7, which is not specifically geared towards rcokcrawling, and the TJ in the US, which is. And there were definitely well-built rigs from CJ's and YJ's to TJ's (no JK's seen this weekend) that would and could have fun in JV. It was good to get some seat time again, before we come out to JV later this year Below some pictures for those interested:

Hello Joe,
so far that truck has been the designated tow rig indeed, but it's not mine. It's one of the trucks used on my parents' tree nursery, but we get to use it on occasion
