Happy New Year

To my personal friends Blaine and Kathryn especially - its been a long year with some great Jeeping and wrenching tossed in with the daily struggles. I wish you both the best for the new year.

Sergey - I see a tow rig in your future Best wishes to you too for the coming year and thanx for the hard work on keeping this place going.

To all my board friends and Jeepin pals - thanx for making this place a nice place to visit and thanx for some good trail memories. Jeff - I particularly enjoyed competing with you in CRCA. We gotta run a trail one of these days in the TJ's

....and to those of you remaining that don't like me or think I'm an a$$ - get over it and best wishes to you too

I don't comprehend Nigerian
Actually, the term "grok" comes from "Stranger in a strange land" by Robert Hienlen. It's a pretty good book about people who suffer from being different from the crowd. And it's a classic story.
http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=grok
For the def..

I thought you'd get a kick out of the proverb, as it seems to define things well. But, perhaps as with most proverbs, people take them different ways.

I know Heinlen well, I have the entire Stranger in a Strange Land series of books about Lazarus Long so I understand "Grok" quite well thank you. Its your use of Nigerian that eludes me William. No matter. Happy New Year to you.

Thanks for the well wishes Robert! It sure has been a busy year. Maybe things will taper off next year, but I doubt if it will much for me.

If you ever need a wrenching hand, drop me a line. I'll gladly drop by & help if I can.

Best wishes to all the folks here!

Happy New Year to everyone here. To the ones I've met and to those I will meet someday. Thanks for the advice I've received. This is a great place to hang out. I just hope to get in more wheeling trips in 04 than 03.
On a side note, today I am celebrating 13 years with the greatest woman I've ever met. She'd have to be just to put up my Jeep taking up space in garage.
I'm outta here. Be safe tonight if you go out.

I think it was Pulp Fiction.

Or, (haven't seen it), the remake of Shaft..

I'll echo Jason's sentiments: I've enjoyed this place, and have learned a lot from those here. Being from "up north a ways", I haven't had the chance to meet any of you, but perhaps time will allow that to change. Until then...

Take care and be safe.

Happy New Year.

Happy New Year.

I hope you all have a safe and happy one and that the upcomming year is better in all aspects than the last, for you.

I personally am hoping to see more of everyone in this new year.

Things got a bit crazy for me this past year and I'm hoping to have more time to hang out and/ or actually wheel with you guys in the near future.

Anyway, best wishes to everyone.
