That is terrible news. As much as we argued on the internet I don't wish that on anyone.

My thoughts are with his wife and family.

Unhappy

Oh my God, this is horrible. I had such a bad feeling that something bad would happen to somebody I know, and it did.

Ron was a great guy.

RIP

Ron stopped by Arizona a few years back with his son (two Jeeps) and we all ran a couple of trails with another local Jeeper. I don't remember him ever being any happier than he was that day. We had a great time and I won't forget it (nor those times we spent together at Moab). He certainly loved the outdoors and those places his Jeep would take him.

This is so sad to hear. Sue and I are in shock. We met Ron and April in Moab a couple years ago....they were a great couple.

One evening we couldn't make it back to our campsite as the road was closed due to a canyon fire....Ron and April put us up in their trailer until the road re opened.

I've always wanted to do an extended outback trip with Ron thru Nevada and Utah....just to hang out out on the trails and campsite and share stories.

Our heart goes out to April.

No way,

Is everyone sure? I've followed him and his jeep ever since the early JU days.

My thoughts and prayers to both him and his family...

Unhappy

The BEST thing about this hobby has been the people I have met. Ron was one of the best.

April, my heart goes out to you.

Ron, I wish we could have shared one more trail.

Ron had showed a lot of nerve and skill on the trail, but he had said that wheeling in the dunes scared the crap out of him.

Never stop exploring, be true to your feelings, live life to the fullest. These are qualities of Ron that I admired the most. Someday I will grow up to be like him.

Rest in Peace, my friend.

I've posted on JU but what to say here has been a little tougher to come up with. More than a few folks know that Ron had a falling out with several of us who run the board but in the end and I think I can speak for others here, is that nobody here wishes such a fate on anyone. Its a true shame and my prayers go to Ron's family.

What else is a shame is that one of our own had to go through that ordeal by himself and for that, he is not just in my prayers but on my list of folks that are welcome to call on me anytime, night or day.

Joe, please know we are your friends and if any one of us can do anything for you at all, just say the word.

It is so sad to see another Jeeper move on. I feel so sorry for his friends and family. He isn't the one thats hurt, he's moved on to bigger and better things, its his family and friends we must comfort. I have never seen him in person or wheeled with him but it still hurts.

RIP TJRon, in heaven, the plantary gears are quiet.

I only met Ron a few times. I'll always remember coming over Weston Pass and seeing this gay jade jeep on 35's coming up the other side. What are the chances of crossing paths in the middle of the Colorado wilderness?

Our prayers go out to his family.

Unhappy RIP TJRon

When I think of TJRon, I think about the trip we took to the Grand Canyon a year ago last April. The sights were incredible and TJRon a very hospital host. My thoughts prayers are with TJApril and TJMax. I'm sorry for your terrible loss
