Speedglas 9100XX

Awesome helmet. And I do mean awesome.

Got one 2 weeks ago to replace my 9002X.

I don't know how Hornell/3M does it, but just when I think the optical clarity can't get any better, the new Speedglas model never fails to deliver.

And the head gear? Wow is all I can say. Enough adjustments to keep you busy for an hour getting the perfect fit.

Vastly improved ear protection over the 9002 model, yet could still benefit from additional coverage.

Very light. No noticeable difference compared to my old 9002X.

Side windows.....BEST idea ever in a weld helmet, especially working at heights.

PLENTY of room for a respirator.

Speedglas has me so impressed I'm afraid to try anything else. Never used another brand of helmet or lens.....
