Road trip!

We are touring Australia in April - May 2005

The first very rough plan:
Sydney >> head west >> Broken Hill >> head north >> Innamincka/Birdsville >>
head east >> Brisbane/Fraser Island >> head south >> Sydney.

Combination of camping and motels and friend's places along the way.

Flight information:

Qantas Airways Limited flight 8
Departing Los Angeles on Saturday, Apr 16 at 1:00P
Arriving in Sydney on Sunday, Apr 17 at 8:35P

Departing Sydney on Saturday, May 7 at 10:50A
Arriving in Los Angeles on Saturday, May 7 at 7:10A

Until December 17 there is a special deal going on (based on availability), I got my ticket directly from Qantas for under $1100 including all fees and taxes.

Visa is required, but there is electronic version (ETA) that you can apply for instantly online for about 20 bucks.

No vaccinations are required, unless you recently been to Africa or South America. CDC has some general recommendations about traveling to the area.
