We're home. Alive with BIG ASS SMILES

Had a phenomenal amount of fun this weekend. I'll give a full trail report later, but we finished 6th out of 11. I was 1 cone from 5th, and 2 cones from 4th. 1st thru 3rd were leagues ahead.

Jeep worked amazing. Verticals were perfect. Big drop offs were reasonable. Technical crawling was pretty good. Spotting was unbelievable. My driving was as good as I get. We suffered from 1 major problem which was vehicle width. One VERY VERY slow flop on the last course of the day on Saturday. We basically had 8 great obstacles, 1 nearly great obstacle that wound up hurting us point wise, and one piece of ****.

I learned a lot. A hell of a lot. We hung with the big boys, just fine. Our inexperience was definitely the difference between top finishing and mid pack. We were the only newbie.

Thanks to those that came out to yell for us!
Seth

Please tell me you are going to try and drive almost over the first cone on A5?

From what I saw you guys were doing good. A5 was nothing but inexperience.

Did you all run B5? There were no scores posted for in on Pirate.

We ran all 10 gates. EVERYONE but Cody 40'd something. Mine just happened to be in front of you!

Jeff Mello had the win locked up and got greedy. Wound up on his lid. Oops.

We took a few wierd lines, tried to out think the courses and drive really well. The best was our exit on b3. 15 seconds left at the top of a long, long vertical drop. Eased down it. Rear end started to lift and I nailed it. Finished with 4 seconds.

Congrats Seth! I wish I could've been there. Your finish is something to be proud of, first timer or not!

Its LOW and FAT.

Bout 79" wide from bulge to bulge. 4" coil in the rear that are custom, 5" coil up front... no idea what the front one is from. The arms are RE LA. Wheel wells are stock.

Running gear is 60s f/r, Atlas, 700r4, 35" Krawlers.

s.
