Thank you for reading the post over Mr. blaine. I did not idle up the trail if this how i made it sound. That was never my intention to make me look good. I Really ony posted to show how much fun I had at JV . I really thought it had everything to offer to everyone. I can see how its hard to understand somenes posts sometimes. Ill just blame it on the fact that i failed typing in school. |

I find it humorous that Mr Blaine accuses underwood of having a competitive attitude, then posts a virtual competition scorecard on how he did on Claw Hammer.
Trails change, they get stacked/unstacked, water ruts, big obstacles moved etc. Hell they can change from one rig to the next if stuff gets moved around enough.

But there were a couple fun spots on there, those two massive boulders that make it tight squeeze (especially for ZJs) and drop into a little fall, were the most fun. This was the first run for my buddy with front and rear Detroits in his rig, and the combination of understeer in the soft stuff to nosteer in high traction, made most of Aftershock exciting for him.

I hate going downhill, thought of the squeeze on Aftershock as soon as you mentioned it. I'll bet that was fun.

Depends on yur idea of fun. I got a big kick out of it, climbing the lower rock and looking out the front as it seems just start floating in mid air until finally coming down into the dropin.
My buddy didn't like that line much, and opted to hug the wall a little more... cost him a quarter panel.

I was attempting to smooth over some ruffled feathers and you are not helping in the slightest. I don't know you, Seth has spoken highly of you and at this point, you're making him look pretty bad. Care to try again?

"I do know that the last time out on Claw, I had a very good day. No stucks, one back-up, nailed the line on the big and the little fall, and the only back-up I took was after my mulligan to get lined up for the launch over the exit."
I call them the way I see them Mr Blaine. I don't understand why you think less of Seth because I'm honest with my opinions.

Note to those that weren't there. While the vehicle was in motion, the hands were firmly attached to the steering wheel where they belonged. It was only after all rig motion had stopped, a balance point was reached and Robert had his hands on the front bumper, did I finally pull myself upright with the cage.
Here is a pic of the rig in motion, note the location of the hands-

I remember that day and what a sad event. They had all kinds of welded on hanleds and when it came down to crunch time they were missed and the cage was grabbed. When ever I have a new rider with me I don't even tell them about the handles on the cage, I have them hold the shoulder straps across their chest and never touch the cage. I have also seen people loose fingers in the dunes when a rail roles. It doesn't matter how soft the groung is somebody gets hurt. Oh and nice to see you back Gary.
