Brake booster and master cylinder off a Commanche

Would the master cylinder and booster off a Commanche fit a 1991 cherokee. I am having problems with my abs system and booster pump and I plan on switching it over.

any help would be great

thanks

Are you planning on no longer using the ABS? If so KUNG FU brakes might be something to look into. This mod is suppose to work for XJ/ZJ/YJ and TJ's. There is alot more discussion on it over on POR.

From what i've read it will also improve braking power on rigs that have swapped axles and now have bigger drums/disc brake systems.

This is one of those mods on my list to do, just haven't got around to actually doing it yet.

My cherokee has a Bendix 9 ABS system - it doesn't have a manual booster, it uses an electric pump system to supply pressure to the brake system. I am having problems with electric pump motor and I am thinking about changing it over to the regular booster.
