Ox Locker recent news.

A good friend advised that they now have spring loaded shifters. What this means is that you do not have to hold your shifter with your hand waiting for wheel action for the locker to engage. Shifter locks as soon as you move it, upon enough wheel action it automatically engages the locker. Same as the current disengagement feature.

Shifters are currently being shipped out with this feature. For those of you who already have an Ox locker and think this is a neat update all is not lost. I believe if you call Drive Train Direct they will send you this quick modification to install on your shifters.

Does Sergey really have to call DTD? Perhaps we can solve this another way?

Sergey,

Let me clarify a bit my first post which I should have elaborated more from the beginning.

This modification has been tested and is now in production. The next production run of the D44 that ship out will have this feature.

I just got off the phone, as soon as the first production run is finished which could be in a few days or a week, I will pull one out for you to make sure you have it before anyone else.

Send me a private email with your address and phone number (don't worry I won't sign you up for porn). Glad to be of help.

The modification is not on the shifter but inside the diff cover.

Sergey,

It does in a sense because the covers are different. If I'm not mistaken I was advised that their current run will include all of their model lockers. I will make sure that I pull the right stuff for you. Btw, got your email.
