Some progress and less grumblings

Well, today turned out better than the last couple days. I borrowed an 220VAC extension cord from Matt, and a plasma cutter from a local Jeeper. It was painfull getting the old hitch off, but it did finally come off.

After all the hair-pulling, it should be a nice upgrade once I weld it on.

Thanks to this little gizmo for cutting it off.

You should take that ball coupler and hold it about 2 feet off the ground and weld a new trailer to it.

Glad you got it figured out, the right tools make short work of nasty jobs.

LMAO. Yeah, this trailer has had way too many birthdays. The more I look at it, the more I find myself knowing a more suitable trailer needs to find it's way to my driveway. I have been avoiding the obvious.

This afternoon I finished it up. A little grinding, some MillerMatic & some rattle can.

Looks better Joe. At least I won't worry about you losing the trailer now.

Not just funny, practical too.

Hmm, maybe I should drop a suggestion in Santas box.

I know that Adam has a trailer at his place that's for sale & he's aquiring another. I'd really like to have a better trailer, but with all the other recent purchases I'm not in a place where I can spend much $ right now with Christmas around the corner.

I gotta say I laughed my *** off to Blaine's "You should take that ball coupler and hold it about 2 feet off the ground and weld a new trailer to it."

But given enough Rustoleum paint, you can fix nearly any old trailer woes.
