Question Who has fun at work? (lots of pics)

This week it's back to "work" after going on a little vacation last week in Missouri to see my Dad, friends, & to meet & greet Hellbender & his wife.

It's time to earn a paycheck & to work (or should I say school?), to learn some new software features that are going into the system I have so much fun with. Here's a couple pics I took today while at school & in the two Tomahawk labs I'm working at in Point Loma, Ca.

Scaled down Tomahawk Cruise Missile:

Tomahawk Lab#1 Operator Consoles:

Tomahawk Lab#1 Processors:

So, who else here has fun while at work? Pics would be nice!

One of my server rooms at work undergoing an install of a new 4.5 ton A/C unit. With it and an existing 2.0 ton unit I am able to keep that room at 65 degrees. It's not quite as nice as the toys you have, Joe, but it's entertaining for me.

My job is boring.....

Right now I make parts for these little 400 ton trucks.....

Engine.....24 Cylinder Quad Turbo Cat 3524B.....3224 HP at the flywheel.....
Empty weight is 510,000 lbs
Operating weight loaded is 1,230,000 lbs
Max speed with a full load.....40 mph.
42" Disc Brakes (10 each up front, 15 each in rear.....thats 50 total)
Tires.....55/80R63 (13 feet tall.....$30k each)

Auto tranny.....

Had to.....

On the highway.....

Loaded.....

It's big.....

Front suspension strut.....I weld those..... Notice the steering knuckle, hydraulic cylinder and other assorted steering goodies.....oh, and the brake hoses.....

Rear suspension and diff cover.....You should see the ring and pinion gear.....you'd crap yourself. Notice the rear suspension and "normal sized" led stop, tail, and turn lights. The rubber tractor lights crack me up.....
