Jeep Weight

What is the most appropriate way to measure jeep weight?

This is a G-Tech related question.

Tobject,

Go to a certified public scale at any large equipment rental yard. I got 2 measurements for about $8. First they weighed the holed Jeep then drove the front off the scale and weighed the rear only. By subtraction you can get the front weight. FWIW, with me in it (170#), my TJ weighed 4020# (2020#F/2000#R).

Jeff
