And So it Begins... The Rebirth of Tightey Whitey

The rebuild has begun... I started tearing out the front clip today. I
pulled the hood and currently working on the Grille. Hopefully I'll get it
completely stripped within the week.

I'm thinking about chopping the rear corners out, a la Paul Nasvik (http://www.jeepshots.com)
The front will most likely get some sort of tube fender.

I need to find a new windshield soon...
Seth

I have a wind shield frame I could relay down that way. it is not perfect but with a little work it could be OH and the glass is shot, not from rolling it but from my son sitting on it.

Well I sent an e-mail to William since he knows both of you, to see if he could help out. I feel like we are playing 6 degrees of seperation here.

my guess you should have it Sunday at the latest.

THANKS!!

Day 2 update:
I finished pulling the grille this afternoon. HUGE PITA, but its done. I replaced the fan shroud which was destroyed (it was hitting the fan when I rolled and cracked down the middle, so I broke the top piece off) drained the radiator, and checked all the suspension components in the front end.

Next week, new front clip.

Seth

Assuming there's no undercarriage damage I don't know about, I'm planning to have it drivable again within 2 weeks.

With Scott's windshield temporarily, I just need to get cooking on the fenders and corners.

I can possibly get it to Blaines house tonight if somebody can get it to me, either by meeting me in Chino or part way between my house and Blaines somewhere on the 91.

I'm sorry that you won't be attending Rocktoberfest with us, but I'm really happy to see your rebuilding your rig so quickly.

Best wishes,
