Papromike ?

I sent an e-mail to Papromike in re some parts last week. I haven't heard from him yet. I'm not in a huge hurry, but wonder if maybe he's out of town and won't see my e-mail for a week? Does anyone know if he's on vacation, or out wheeling, or should I assume he just hasn't gotten to my e-mail yet?

Any special handshake I should know in getting the best deal, or is his normal price the best deal?

Who hear talked to Michael about Ace pricing? I followed up with him in trying to get my order placed (I'd sent him an order last week with no response) and asked him to confirm the RE part numbers I had. He sent back a confirmation of each item but all the prices are now more than they were a week or so ago. Did anyone really talk to him about Ace pricing (Blaine had joked about this in a different thread)? There really is a secret handshake isn't there

I just told him to raise the price .5 percent every time you asked a question. Just how many did you ask?

That's pretty funny Blaine.

I guess I shouldn't have asked him to confirm the part numbers, because that's pretty much where the price difference shows up (.5% on each part).

I've got a lot of RE stuff on my Jeep, almost all bought from vendors cheaper than Re sells them. I order them and pay the vendor and RE drop ships them to me.
The problem comes up when I call the dip****s at RE to discuss something and they pull my name up and tell me I don't have their stuff on my Jeep! I tell them I'm not a dildo so I buy my parts where they are cheap and they're the ones that are screwed up the way they market their stuff. Usually I give them the secret word (Harry sent me) and they give me the "one time" 20% off price.
Point being, if you ever need to deal with those turds you need to buy your stuff through them at full price (or use the secret words, "Harry sent me") so your in their computer.

Anyone have contact info other than e-mail. Last week I e-mailed him a couple times (asking if he'd received my order, which he didn't and then re-sent the order). I haven't heard from him about my order, so I sent another e-mail asking if he got it this time. I'd like to just call him, but I don't have a number.

Good idea Scott, as he seems to be getting e-mail sporadically that seems like the most direct approach. Too bad I don't have any carrier pigeons...
