Gears grinding with new trans

I need some HELP!!!
I bought a rebuilt AX15 for my 1992 Wrangler. After a month or so it started grinding between 1 and 2 and 2 and 3. I had it rebuilt but it still does the same thing? I cannot guarantee that the '92 I bought is really a '92 or not. Is there a difference between AX15's? Are the synchronizers different for different years?
