Cool Pinyon Mt Trail

Has anyone run Pinyon Mt in the past few months? If so, any advice? Last time I was on it was a year ago.

It's been ages since I ran it, but I would think that this time of year it would be nice & scenic.

We did it a few weeks ago.
It's much better if you run it backwards.
Do Sandstone Canyon to the end (most people don't know how far back it goes) & then HA Hill.

Cool

robert,

Does Sandstone Canyon rejoin Fish Creek Wash? If so, where?
How was running "the Squeeze" from the bottom up?

I haven't done HA hill in 6-7 years, what's it like going up? Going down sure got my attention.

It's about like El Hill but w/ holes. Traction is good.
Stay on the left side & out of the holes when going up.

Thanks but I sure remember HA Hill as being a lot steeper than El Hill. Maybe not, it's been a while since I went down HA Hill or saw El Hill.

I'd agree HA Hill is steeper than El Hill in that its pretty much the same pitch from bottom to top. Seems longer, too.
