Rear Cargo Area Tie-Down Loops
OK, I give up ... how do you remove the factory rear cargo area tie-down loops in a 2000 TJ Sahara?
I'm installing a Tuffy rear cargo aluminum storage box and I have removed all of the factory rear hardware with the exception of the 6 cargo area tie-down loops just below the carpet. At first I thought they were held in place by two small countersunk socket-head screws, but on closer inspection there are no Allen hex or Torx facets, just small diameter round holes. Are these some form of rivet? If so, it looks like I may have to drill them out to remove the tie-down loops. If anyone knows what the scoop is on getting these out, I would sure appreciate the info. |
