North Cal

Livermoore around the end of september..

And San Francisco around the middle of October.

SF will be all free time ~ I'm riding up on the Coronado for the FW trip.

Is the Paladium still decent?

Livermore is only about 30 min away from me, if traffic is light (1.5 hours if it's not).

Don't really have any wheelin' plans, yet. Robert PM'd me and said he might be in this area toward the end of September, or early October, and wanted to do some wheeling. Maybe we could put something together??

My livermoore time is going to be crazy, and I'm waiting on a word for how busy it will be.

The October time frame is wide open. Basically free days (no vacation time deducted.).

Let's see what develops as the dates get closer.

I'm working on an OBA setup now, and would need an excuse to trail test it

OKAY.....Let's do a little geography lesson here. If you are in San Diego, you may consider San Francisco and Livermore to be "Northern" California. Heck, you could even call Escondido "Northern California!" However, if you travel north from either of these first two locations a few hours, what would you call it? Oregon?

My dog lives in Red Bluff, and she knows that we have a bunch of "northern California" north of here. You are cordially invited to Northern California for a REAL geography lesson!

Have fun in CENTRAL California, and a safe trip!

My $.02.

Funny, I'm from San Jose, CA originally, and live in Southern California now. When I lived in San Jose, we called it California where we lived, and so cal for San Diego. If you asked about Redding, yreka, or Shasta.. we called it "that place where the funny talking tree hugging subaru rainbow flag sierra club red necks lived".

Which part are you from now?

I'm in San Diego now. I"m going to be in San Francisco from the 9 - 14th of October. Looks like things won't work out that well. The problem being I won't be able to get from SF easily to the out lying areas. (I'm riding up in a ship).

Next time I drive up, I'll bring the Jeep in hopes of getting some wheeling in..

William....this comes as a shock to me! This isn"t the Subaru board?

This is why I have always been in favor of an East-West fence just North of Sacramento......

that would be great to keep the north state yahoo's and rednecks away from my favorite trails

but we need another fence just north of yosemite to regulate those southerners as well
