Anyone every heard of a 15.5" diameter wheel?
Spent a few minutes mounting a set of 35" BFGs on some Mickey Thompson wheels today, and when I was bolting on the foney beadlock rings I noticed that the 35" tire says "do not use on a 15.5" wheel" on its sidewall. I've never even heard of a 15.5" wheel, do they exist or not?

Your Rubi originally came with 16" wheels, did you switch to a 15"? Could you have meant 16.5"? 16.5" wheels don't have a safety bead on the wheel which is commonly warned against using... but I've never heard of a 15.5" wheel that may have the same issue.

Never heard of a 15.5 either. 16.5 wheels are common on 3/4 and 1-ton trucks, but that's a new one on me.

Yep, they were on the rear of some Isuzu NPRs (and their Chevy/GMC clones) medium duty trucks imported in the late 80s. It was a problem at the time because their were no 15.5 inch tires available in the U.S.

Let's see what a quick search can pull up. Isuzu Npr Flatlow, Chevrolet W4 Tiltmaster Flatlow, and Gmc W4 Forward Flatlow use 15.5 inch rims on the rear axle. Some tractors, forklifts and bicycles use this size too.
