nutzerts, or a hole saw?

I got a smoking deal on some currie rocker guards...but no hardware.

I bought a bunch of grade 8 bolts (it cost an extra 50 cents....didn't care if it was overkill) and nuts. Of course....with the TJ body, there are blind holes.

I could order nutzerts, or I could create access holes. I don't mind drilling..just wondering if there are spots I won't be able to get at even with that method. It would be good to know before I make holes for no reason

Nutserts are quick, easy and very effective. I've probably even got one of the tools Currie includes with their kit laying around.

Nutserts sucks.

I've not had any experience with them until now, at this new job, and I've installed my fair share here lately. There has to be a better way.....

I scored a set of cheap Curries for my '97 TJ, minus the hardware.

I used bolts, fender washers, and ho-made back up strips.

You have to be smarter than the process you are dealing with.

I understand.

And I'm certainly smarter than a handful of nutzerts.....

But am I smarter than a whole bag of them? I'm not so sure about that.....

That said, I stand by my anti-nutzert assertions.

They suck.
