OT2VBx is a file processing utility that runs under Windows. Its purpose is to process XML export files generated by Infopop OpenTopic community software and generate forum files ready to import into Jealsoft vBulletin board system.
You will need this utility if you exported your OpenTopic data using "All Forums" option, or if you have been doing incremental backups.
All you need to do, is specify the folder where your unzipped OpenTopic forum export files are located, make sure that checkmarks are next to every file you wish to process, and hit the ok button. OT2VBx will start processing input files, and generate a bunch on new files in the specified output folder, one file for each of your OpenTopic forums.
After you done running the utility, you can upload the output files (named like opentopic_forum_ot2vbx_[something_something].xml) as well as your original OpenTopic member export file to your new vBulletin web server, and then use vBulletin import facility.
You don't need this utility, if you exported your open topic data one forum at a time, and you don't want to assemble forum import files spanned across multiple original backups.
